Interesting thread. I'll go ahead and throw in some of your not-the-usual rundown:

But I'll start with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 - because I'm a Potter fan


Melancholia - from unorthodox Danish filmmaker Lars von Trier who is responsible for "disturbing" films Antichrist, Funny Games, La Pianiste, etc. (edit: Don't know why but was actually thinking of Michael Haneke when I wrote this. Von Trier did not direct Funny Games and La Pianiste, what I meant to write was Dogville, Maderlay, Dancer in the Dark, The Idiots, The Boss of it All, etc. hahaha). With an eclectic international casting this is going to be awesome, I expect.

Hugo Cabret - the new film from master filmmaker Martin Scorsese

The Skin I Live In - to be directed by prodigious Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodovar

The Grandmasters - another take on Bruce Lee trainer Ip Man, I'm expecting this is gonna be brilliant since it's going to be directed by Asian auteur Wong Kar Wai

A Dangerous Method - psychoanalytical extravaganza on the life of Freud and Jung from mindf*ck master David Cronenberg

The Descendants - new comedy-drama from Alexander Payne

Your Highness - David Gordon Green's new comedy is set to explode literally on screen and with huge laughs

Untitled Dardenne Brothers Film - in my book, anything the Belgian filmmakers will offer is worth the wait.

Terrence Malick's THE TREE OF LIFE -- awesome look sa trailer palang. Can't wait for May.
