Here's what I think, if this will be priced below 10k ( for the 768mb version ), then it will definitely kill the HD5830 price/performance/power wise. This card sits perfectly between the HD5850 and the HD5770. Given the results ( though, it is best we wait for more reviews ) ati may be forced to change prices for the HD5770 and the HD5830. A good news for us consumers. With a fair amount of headroom for overclocking, this might be my next card. Can't wait to read more reviews.

it's not unless you overclocked it...
or an HD5850 can be the favorable option if prices drops to GTX460 levels.
