My dog is dying - Anemic

Hi,

Just got my Labrador, Onyx, from the our place in Danao City only to find out the she is very sick. She lost a lot of weight compare to about few months ago when I brought her there to enjoy running and playing on a huge lawn.

Anyway, I brought her to CVD in Ramos st. last Monday and they said, she is Anemic and needs about 500cc of blood from a 28-30kl dog. She also has worms.

I didn't understand much about what she said because she was speaking in french, I think... terms only medicine people could understand.

Would anybody please help me save my Dog.

take her to another vet...
some vets make it as a scapegoat
to complicate or use medical jargons
in "explaining" the problems to their clients
its their way of short-cutting things... para
tando2x lang ang client ug dili na magsukit2x.

it may also be a sign that the vet is not experienced enough;
using complicated terms to hide their ignorance of the prob.
go find another vet... this time choose an experienced one.

this is why ive long abandoned this clinic...
if you look at their resident vets and happen to talk to them
you'll get a feeling that theyre trying to lose you in a maze of their explanation.
never to the point, always taghap2x... maayo if matsambahan, what if not?

We suggest that you get a second opinion from another vet, not just any vet but an experienced one, and better do it fast. Don't be coy, ask the vet everything that you want to know about your dog's case.

I think naa dog si doc oddy reserved for blood transfusion in case of emergencies. Did you ask sad unsai diagnosis nila? You should have also asked the doctor to elaborate more and inform her terms you dont understand. I dont remember them having a french veterinarian... Wala sad mo gi-advice sa vet nga i.admit?
