Default high-school rules against human rights?

Wa man unta ta nagpuyo sa China where people there don't have enough rights. Kbw ko nga we have to be decent looking "carolinians" but I think that way over the line. What do you think?

    Page 2: PREFACE

    TO ALL STUDENTS:
    It is assumed that
    1)...
    2)...
    3) Your personal rights and freedom are recognized; but once you are a student of the University, you FREELY and WILLINGLY decide to circumscribe your freedom within the framework of the rules and regulations of this institution.

Mau ni ang problema. ^^ This quote reminds me of the book called "Anthem" by Ayn Rand. High-school students are kinda like Equality 7-2521 -- they have limited rights and limited space to exercise individualism. A huge number of high-schools here are more leaning towards the communist-socialist values.

Nag home-school nlng ko after sa 1st year.

Exactly. Being in High-School is like living in a non-democratic country.

if that's the case then why didn't you pick a different school? in my opinion these strict rules will helps us when we go to college or when we go to work.

@ TS it's not a violation to human rights...freedom exists right? Kybaw na ta kung unsay rules sa usa ka eskwelahan d ba? Kung kybaw ka wa unta ka ni eskwela diha ky d ka ganahan magpatope...Naa man tay freedom kung asa ta gusto mo eskwela...Man is free to choose what he wants to follow, and he should be aware of what's the protocol of a specific institution in order to exercise his freedom.. As what Jean Paul Sartre says, "Man is condemned to be free!"
