ingon nila, all is fair in love and war daw. ug ang atong pamolitika dinhi karon is obviously a war. the coinage of the term ' political arena' is very apt.

so ang atong mga politiko would not think twice to run. ang uban modagan kay dako ang ilang pangandoy nga makaselbe sa haring lungsod.. they want to serve the PEOPLE.. ug dili pod nato ikalimod that others are running for the fund of it. they don't think much of serving the people, they think of serving themselves first, but hey.. all is fair in love and war.

ang ato pod nga pinalanggang inday n sa manduae, nga gusto kuno mo selbe sa haring mga mandauehanun, ( that she had a long stint in congress with nary a thing to show for it notwithstanding) didn't even bat a coiffured lash when she re-aligned forces from one party to the other. neways, who would want to be part of a sinking ship daw, d ba?

an pangutana hinoun mao: duna ba kahay benifit na makuha si haring lungsod niinig transfer of loyalty from one party to the other? ug unsa kahay naa sa mind of the people watching these maneuvers? is this for the over-all benefit all or for just one inday? for the fund of it?

FOLLOWING the departure of Rep. Nerissa Soon-Ruiz of Cebu’s 6th district from One Cebu, Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes said he is open to receiving an endorsement from Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia.

Cortes, however, reiterated that he will remain loyal to the Liberal Party (LP) and support its local and national candidates led by standard bearer Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III and gubernatorial candidate Hilario Davide III.

The One Cebu party, which is backing the candidacy of former defense secretary Gilbert Teodoro, has withdrawn support for Soon-Ruiz as mayoralty candidate for Mandaue City along with her council slate.
