Sir, all i can say is, it depends on your budget + where you are comfortable. that you will feel that you wont have any regrets buying it...

since im not that familiar about the INTEL systems... i'll go for AMD since thats where im used to.

i3 is good but for me I can suggest AMD Athlon X4 since its the latest of AMD procies and has 4 cores as well and bang for the buck.

but if 1 change your motherboard with something with 710 or 750 southbridge
if 2, dont go with intel brand motherboards.. go with performance mboards like asus or gigabyte or similar

kanang 3 sets naka nagpaquote nako ana. gud to buy na ako budget. prob nako naglibog ko which is which.

Take note at dragon age origins. The game is known to love quad core that even the most heavily overclocked E8400 Wolfdale can't beat the Q6600 at stock. Quite interesting since the i3 which is still dual core was able to beat the Athlon II X4. This proves in terms of architecture, the i3 is the best at it's price range. Anyway you can't go wrong with either of the two. Main advantage of going for amd is you can save a few bucks and add it up to get a much faster vc
