I grow up listening to this bands... I was never ashamed admitting that i listen to hair metal...

cheesy ballads, the hairs the spandex etc and those stuffs.........

but at least these guys can really play their instruments..

the guitar players from that decade were gods.. Steve Vai, Michael Angelo Batio, and even Dimebag Darrell was once a glam metal guitarist...

poison, warrant, trixter, cinderella, bon jovi, danger danger, firehouse, tesla, whitesnake, bad english, motley crue, winger, damn yankees, mr. big...... ahhhh to many to mention..

hair metal... hair we go again... spandex and aqua net were also the things these guys use on their looks to make it more glamorous. there were guitars with colorful designs, every members of the band singing during the chorus and name of the band placed on the front of the bass drum head.
these were the most popular lines: heaven isnt too far away, cum on feel the noize, shes got looks that kill, lookin for nothin but a good time, you cant stop the fire burning out of control, bye bye baby bye bye that was all she wrote..

Heart (80's), Dokken, Kingdom Come, Skid Row, Slaughter, Danger2x, House of Lords, Saigon Kick, James Christian, Winger, Vixen, Faster Pussycat, L.A. Guns, Lover Boy, Y&T, Ratt, Dangerous Toys etc..

Winger is the glam band that I really dig the most. Nice kaau ug riifs unya naa sa'y synths. Plus, Reb Beach is an awesome guitarist...IMO, the worst band of this genre is Poison. I don't really like them. To to each his own though

winger is of course one of them. i like reb beach riffs, their style. you can hear it on songs like seventeen, hungry, madalaine... i guess almost all bands on the 80s has a title song with a name of a woman.
but you have to give credit to poison. cc de ville has his own chops too..
