USB Flash Disk Problem!

Problem:

mga bai... akong USB flash disk kay ma detect sa akong PC because it appears in MY COMPUTER... The problem is:

1. Cannot access it and keeps on saying "Please insert disk on drive X:" IF akong e try ug double LEFT click or simply just accessing it... so bottom line is I CANNOT ACCESS IT

2. I can still right click on it and can view its properties.... and shows a wrong information... like Capacity: 0 bytes
Free Space: 0 bytes
Used Space 0 bytes

what i did:

1. I tried Formatting it in many ways... like right click->Format.. and also tried a third party program called "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool".. ALL THAT ARE STATED ABOVE HAVE FAILED....

2. I tried on using it on to different computers with different OS(W7,Vista,XP) and still got the same problem...

3. I tried a DIFFERENT USB Flash Disk and got no problems accessing it... so the problem is with that defective USB and not the computer...

4. Though i have found a solution.... KAPOY LANG BUHATON... u need a BOOTABLE XP CD (not necessarily XP) and from there on u boot the CD and wait until u arrive in the formatting portion and there u format ur USB Flash Drive... IS THERE AN EASIER WAY THAN THIS?

adto ka device manager>click drive sa flash dive u.dn uninstal then ebta ug kalit...paslak balik ok nana

liba ug kalit while nag uninstall or ibton lang after pag uninstall? maka guba man sad na ang ibot ug kalit oi.

btaw try uninstall dd2 sa device manager...... try pud balhin laing port..... try pud 'chkdsk'...
try pud sa laing pc then kung plip pa gihapon etry format dd2..

kung wa jud gani, aw kuhag flat screw driver then ukba nang usb disk nimo then obserbaha ang sulod...... after sa pag-obserba nimo kung mapul-an naka sigeg tinan-aw ilabay na...

mga bro.... i forgot to mention that i tried it(the defective USB flash disk) on to different computers with different OS and still have the same problem.... ni try sad ko ug lain usb flash disk to insert in my USB port and had no problem... so ang problem jd kay naa sa USB FLASH DISK and not from the USB ports... anymore ideas?

nice one... hahaha.... sad to say na mga 2 weeks pa ni naa nako... den ang warranty g.hatag sa ako sa CD-R King kay 1 week ra... sayang kaau kung ilabay daun...
