TOBYMAC- Momentum (rap/rock/hiphop)

NICKEL CREEK- s/t (bluegrass/newgrass/celtic)- forever changed the sound of bluegrass

SIXPENCE NONE THE RICHER- Divine Discontent (alternative rock)
5.
JARS OF CLAY- Who We Are Instead (folk rock)

BRAD PAISLEY- Mud On Tires (modern traditional country)- proof that you can look good and do traditional country and still sell millions of records without being dumb

TIM McGRAW- Live Like You Were Dying (pop country)- pop country at its finest
8.
RYAN ADAMS- Easy Tiger (folk rock/americana/country)- attitude aside, this is a fine emotional album regardless what the blogs says...

ELIZABETHTOWN ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK (americana/folk rock/country)- like a great radio station

DANU- The Road Less Travelled (celtic/gaelic folk)- my proper introduction to traditional celtic music

KING WILKIE- Broke (bluegrass)- young guns with old souls

DEREK WEBB- She Shall And Must Go Free (folk/country)- rocked the walls of american churches

THE SHINS- Chute Too Narrow (folk rock/americana/indie rock)- it'll change your life

RADIOHEAD- Kid A (experimental/electronic/jazz)- like a movie inside your head

ANDREW PETERSON- Behold The Lamd of God (folk/christmas/americana)- narrating the christmas story in an artistic way

JACK INGRAM- Acoustic Motel (texas country)- im inspired by this CD

KEVIN FOWLER- Loose Loud and Crazy (modern traditional texas country)- former heavy metal singer turned honky tonker

HANK WILLIAMS III- Lovesick, Broke, and Driftin' (traditional country)- played with philip anselmo and eyehategod yet still managed to deliver one of this decade's true country record
25.
OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW- O.C.M.S. (old timey string band/folk)- modern day hippie from the mountains of carolina. musically it's a revival... even better than o brother...
