WHITE..or if you have a black/gray desk you can use a bundle of bondpaper :mrgreen:
white surface are good in reflecting light from the optical sensor.
@tolstoi ah thanks...
pffffft figures (im using black)... ehehe! you know your physics well.. hehehe! white reflects better than black surfaces...
hmm my exactmat is black so......
im using the brochure of accenture karon... hehehehe! the Blue side... works like charm :P
maybe because the surface was coated with a Reflective Black coating, typically found on expensive mousepadz...but if you want a budget padz, a bundle of bondpaper or a white office desk will doOriginally Posted by darkwing
the key term here is Reflective surfaces =)
the shiny white surface from the brochure i used didn't work. but the blue rough side (same texture sa bond paper) did the job...
i think bond papers work kay dili sinaw...
OT: haha! never had so much fun discussing mousepads ^_^
oh yeah i've read it somewhere that you can't use a Glossy White surfaces because too much light reflection will mess up the sensor hence it cud not track the surface well =)
that is why expensive mousepadz were engineered with precise roughness for better tracking.
i should know better because i'm a MOUSEPAD geek
very informative! i should blog this! hehehe!
nice info...heheh... :mrgreen:
