well naay pros and cons on any broadband service like for dsl, kusog kaayo ang speed dili ma affectahan sa weather, but at the same time you have to be within the serviceable area sa ilang DSLAM, and even thou discreet ang each connections sa DSL not like Cable Internet nga share mo bandwidth sa neighborhood mo load balancing man gihapon na ang routers sa dsl provider so at the mercy gihapon ka kung mu kuha ka ug residential plan kay weather weather ra ka kung gamay ra tawo nag use sa residential dsl for that area ok ra paspas kaayo but if daghan na kaayo ang nakaconnecta anang DSLAM sa imong neighborhood sorry ka na lang, tagaan gyud nila ug bandwidth priority ang business plan kay maao man ilang gi bayaran guaranteed minimum data rate and their bandwidth never goes down below that data rate pending catastrophic disaster while residential fluctuate murag rollercoaster.

Now as for Smart Bro which is actually high powered wifi transceivers in the range of 100mw (milliwatts) ++ the same ra iyang characteristics sa imong low powered wifi sa laptop only that pointed sigi iyang antenna sa ilang tower so dili ug sigi reestablish/handshake ang connection nimo. What i would suggest is get the best 2 dsl providers sa imong area and use a dual wan router para naay failover function nga kung mamatay ang connection sa usa ka dsl line ma balance pa niya sa imong second dsl line murag UPS (uninterrupted power supply) sa kuryente ba :mrgreen:. well this can be expensive kung para lang balay usually ang mo himo ani kay ang mga internet cafe like netopia etc. or mga data centers.
