    Default Canon 1D mark 4 confirm date in the philippines

    just overheard this conversation with the store owner & a Pro Photog (dont know the name of the photographer friend nya) did2 sa quaipo (not telling the shop and name usa hehee)
    anyway while w8ting for my order sa D60 i herd them talking about Canon 1D mark 4, owner: Oi Canon talk to me last week that ill be one of the shops to endorse canon products. They will be giving me a Canon 1D mark 4 na service or sample unit this october pero di ko pwede ee benta daw for a year. And they also want me to organize a Photography Seminar while promoting the new canon 1D mark 4. Ngayun gusto ko isa ka sa mga mag tuturo sa workshop ko this october.
    Pro Photog: sige, bakante naman ako 2nd and 3rd week sa october. basta lang pagamitin mo ako sa bagong 1D mo. then sabay sila tumawa at dumating na ang nikon d60 ko.
    (meron pa sila pinag usapan pero di ko lang ma intindihan kase parang mandarin ang language)

    so mau na nag share lang ko.

    * 1.3 crop
    * Images ~16MP
    * ISO 50-26500
    * 8MP sRAW1 format providing images that seem to best 1D3 files in detail [typo corrected]
    * Very clean images at ISO 3200. 6400/12800 take further processing very well
    * Slightly faster FPS than 1D3 in real life shooting
    * AF greatly improved and very good in low light (actual comment was ‘Nikon fast’
    * Liveview AF - not up to fast sports use, but very usable otherwise
    * Video as with 5D2
    * Screen as per 5D2
    * Ergonomic improvements with grips - some buttons moved
    * Feels faster and more responsive in nearly all aspects of real use.

    I can't believe it would be a crop camera with less MP then the 5DMKII.

    Vanilla 1D models always had a 1.3x Crop Factor. 1Ds models are full frame. I guess they needed the crop factor to achieve a faster fps rate when using continuous shooting mode. If indeed this is about to come out.... PAGING CrasHBURN!

    n 2008 we witnessed the birth of HD-DSLR Cameras.

    In 2009 you will be introduced to cameras that can see in the dark better than the naked eye.

    Just a little over a year ago my jaw dropped when I stumbled upon the 5D MKII and saw 1080p video coming off of a full frame chip for the first time.

    Just a little over two weeks ago my jaw dropped even harder when I took a prototype of the Canon 1D MKIV outdoors to test it at night. I was on the road, it was late and I had just rushed back to my hotel to get to the unit. I was expecting a 1D body, with 24p, a 1.3 crop factor sensor, 10 fps for stills, a new AF system - 60 fps at 720p - and of course 1080p video.
