The Wallflowers has lots of folk rock elements in their music although majority are into roots rock/americana.

But Jakob Dylan's rick Rubin produced solo album is very much folksy

mao pud ni nakanindot ni rick rubin raw gyud kaayo style...... recent discovery nako kay The Jayhawks.....

toad the wet sprocket pud daghan kaayo sila folk na kanta.... some find it too old fashioned but I find it an honest music.
