The truth about Pay-Per-Click sites

Just recently i was invited to join a certain PayPerClick website.
Although I have no interest in joining these kind of sites, I registered for actual experience.

I did a rough computation based on the numbers they posted there:

Per click : $0.0050
Per referral click : $0.0025
Per premium click : $0.0100
Premium referral click : $0.0050

After clicking an ad, you are required to view the new page for 20 seconds or else you won't earn a point.

If we do the math, here are the facts:

200 clicks = $1
1 minute = 3 ads (based on the 20-second viewing rule)
1 hour = 180 ads
$1 = 1 hour and 7 minutes

Therefore, if you are willing to stay in front of the PC, clicking for 12 hours without eating, you will earn an average of $11 or Php495. Not bad.

Plus the never-ending question: Will I receive my money?

That's why they try to recruit other people for referrals so that they will get $0.0025 each time that person clicks.
Premium rates apply only if you upgrade your membership by paying $100 for a 1 year membership.

On the brighter side, if iSTORYA.net was a PayPerClick website, pila na kaha inyo na-earn?

Thank you for this post, YJOB. This should awaken a lot of Istoryans, especially those who are spamming PPC referral links and promoting PPC sites like crazy.

I myself registered in PTC sites.. some are scams but other sites really pays.

actually, PTC is not a reliable online business... daghan ko kauban sa work na nag pa member... but kato nka refer, well ok lang kay ganansya pa xa....but d rest, sorry nalang cla kay na scam... na ban ang site.... wahehehehe

depende na sa imo PPC sites, ila ba jud e remit nimo so ako w a jud ga pa da ani sa ga invte nako...fyi

depende po sa PTC na sasalihan niyo,, maraming ptc ang scam lang ngayon and also will not pay you,,, I don't know kung anong PTC ang sibalihan ni YJOB, kasi andami namang adds nun,, for a good PTC, should have only 4-5 but never above 10 I think na adds PER DAY.. and every PTC has a minimum cash out. Yung sinalihan ko is $2 dollars ang minimum,, pero siguro kung napakaraming adds per day tapos ang makukuha mo sabihin na natin ay $11, baka naman ang minimum cash out nun ay million,,

Not all PTC are SCAM,, and the trusted ones will truly pay you,,

If there are PTCs that are not scams and can be trusted, maybe it's time to prove your point. Maybe explains like what yjob did. Also, how come ads on PTCs are 90% their own ads?
