“Pag malakas ang turismo, maraming’ trabaho”
DOT has recognized the Philippines as a world-class attraction to assist the tourism industry in encouraging business investments for the country thereby producing employment opportunities to our people.
Taking off from the success of our past similar job fairs, the 4th Trabaho sa Turismo will once again provide job opportunities that range from rank-and-file, junior associate to senior executive levels. This year, Trabaho sa Turismo will also tap the assistance of leading jobsite, JobsDB.com to provide the paperless technology through the use of the Career Card. Through this Career Card, Trabaho sa Turismo will embrace a new technology that encodes the resume via a bar code thus effectively doing away with the printed form. The Career Card likewise effectively reduces the expenses of application incurred by paper and transportation from P200 a day to the P20 an hour rental rate of the local internet café. The Career Card is given to jobseekers for FREE.
