I need tips of modem internet connection..

Hi everyone here.. I need a best tips on pldt mydsl internet connection. Unsaon nako ug buhat ug connection gamit ang akong mydsl network nga 3 computers nga maka connection ug internet? unsay may kinahanglang ug unsa nga model sa nga device? im looking to help my expert people here...

1. router ( naa barato sa cdrking or better yet, buy a known brand router para sure ka sa quality)
2. ethercard/lan card (tag 300 man siguro usa) (kana if wlay lan card imong mobo)
3. rj-45 nga cable ug katong naa tumoy niya (ipa crimp didto sa pc quickbuy or other shops)

if you have the money and go for Netgear's powerline. You can connect internet using the electric wall outlet through netgears powerline adapters. So you can take it farther than the ordinary wireless routers

Difference?
Switch or Hub requires a designated computer as a gateway connected to the internet.
The designated computer requires 2 lan card. one for internet and one to the switch.
-meaning the designated computer must always be turned one so that everyone can have an internet.

Router doesnt need a designated computer.


For hub or switch - it just connects everyone.
Routers connects LANs to other networks(like another lan or internet)

if mag gamit ka og D-link DI604 eh set aside na 2 nimo ang ZyXEL p-600 series? dili na 2 nimo eh gamiton..

so if gamit ka aning d-link DI604 ma connect ra nimo diretso ang tanang comp?

You need a router bro. Daghan man router brand diha, depende pod sa budget.
