I love all around drummers... those who can play just about anything.
Vinnie Colaiuta - from Jazz, Blues, Fusion to Metal (he played on Megadeth's album)
Josh Freese - From A Perfect Circle, The Vandals, to Jewel, Clay Aiken, etc.. one of the hottest studio drummer
Steve Smith - knows every trick in the book.. Buddy Rich's licks.. everything. I think the most talented drummer ever.
Dave Weckl - Jazz/Fusion specialist pero also sessions for Pop acts (Madonna, etc..)
Steve Gadd - the most recorded drummer of all time. If they want the best, they hire this guy.

... Abe Cunningham can't pull off everything sa drums (he hasn't proved that yet... he hasn't done anything else other than doing ROCK Drumming) .. he's as one-sided as Mike Portnoy
Carter Beauford - is very good.. sometimes it would seem that he overplays the parts but he does it in a tasteful manner. Very influential too, a lot of people emulated his open-stance style (open handed drumming) mounting the ride cymbals on the left.
