is 2.0ghz of processor and 512mb of video card good for gaming?

I am planning to buy a video card it said that it has 512mb , is it good for gaming like COD 4 , GTA 4 or NBA2k9. My processor is dual and i am just planning to buy a video card, i am not sure if 512mb of video card is good enough. Please help me guys , i don't want to risk the money, i would like to ask to the experts. My RAM is only 480mb I am also planning to increase it.

ok ra mn gni ako p4 3.0ghz ra... 128 vcard... pero, there are some cases nga mu slow siya... hinay ra gd ako vcard...^^,

the VRAM does not always mean performance. you need to look at the GFX processor and the memory bus.

overclocked ur cpu and buy a 9800GT vc tag 6.2T nlng na cya.

you don't need to overclock the cpu. a decent videocard is good enough for casual gaming.

no need.. he says he has dual processor... maybe dual core or core 2 duo... fast enough for nba 2k9, etc... what you need is a good videocard...
