naa naba available na mga blu-ray movies locally? tagpila pod?
current rig is capable of running high definition movies at 1080P.
just planning to purchase this drive Pioneer BDC-202BK...ok raba ni?

I think thats a good idea! but not necessary still many people dont know about blue ray. Even asking how many people now a days using CRT TV's...coz LCD TV are very expensive. As related to the question you asked still for me a good idea! but not necessary.

Dili worth it sa pagka karn bro. Maybe next year ok na. Mahal pa pirated blu ray disc rn and ang orig samot ka mahal.
Ni palit rko blu ray burner kay nag burn rko ako HD movies from the net para ako collection. Sa PS3 ra sad nko i play. Ang problem sad nko rn is na hutdan nko blank blu ray disc. Huwat pko padala gkan SG kay mahal au dri gud. Other than that wla pa jd gamit blu ray rn. Wla sad gamit blu-ray movies if below 40inch imo LCD tv. madada pa ang DVD na quality sa 40inch and below, di kau mo matter ang pagka HD if gamay ang LCD. Didto na ma appreciate ang HD sa mga 47inch above.

I suggest you buy the LG blu-ray/Hd-dvd bro.....
you can play both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD
and if you're in the US, try deepdiscount.com.....HD-DVDs are cheaper now compared to blu-rays.

I have a Blu-Ray drive. I also have a PS3. Only reason to buy Blu-Ray is for movies so if you watch movies on your PC instead of on a TV, then yeah.

Me Im just using a virtual blue ray disc player and updated my cyberlink power dvd player so that I can play downloaded blue ray movies

no point in getting unless you have an hdtv or a very large lcd screen with full hd capability
and of course dapat tigtanaw kag blu ray movies hehe
