Im a parent. No matter how tired I am, everytime i see pictures of my kids, hear their voices, hug them, kugos them,.... mawala dayon akong kakapoy.

So... in this thread, id like the parents of iStorya to post instances where in our kids really made our days complete jud.

No need to connect your experiences with the others. Just post what happend, what your kids had done, and what in it made you happy that day.

Last Saturday, i came home from work. Kapoy!... Labad kaayo akong ulo that day. Traffic pa jud, samot! When i was on my way home na, i heard the voices of my two kids, Bon-bon(4yrs ol)d and Ann-ann(2 yrs old).

"Daddy! Daddy!", Naglayat-layat si Bon-bon happily calling my name. Ann-ann was also shouting "Daddy! Daddy!". Pero nagdagan siya padulong nako w/out slippers. Pagkasugat namong Ann-ann, nilayat siya then gakus nako. The two were very happy to see me. I was very tired that day but nawala ra jud.

... dili ni drama ha. pero true to life jud ni! Kahibalo man ko nga daghan sad mga parents dinhi, so i hope this thread continues jud.

Being a single mom...I have to do everything I can to make up for the fact that what I have is just a single-income thingie for me and my son. Sometimes I have to go overtime to finish a project so we can work on another...at times..even if I am tired by the time I put him to bed...I have to go down to the kitchen and bake so that I can fulfill the orders for the cakes and pastries that will be delivered the next day. (order kayo! check out this post http://forums.istorya.net/viewtopic.php?t=21131 )

But it is all worth it...he is worth all the tiredness I feel in my bones...the lack of sleep as evidenced by my eyebags that are getting bigger as the Christmas season gets nearer...the juggling of funds so that I can buy some more ingredients but not neglect buying milk and diapers.

Last Saturday, as I came home from a meeting with some clients and I was walking up the driveway...Anton, who is just learning how to talk suddenly called out in a very loud voice....MUHMUHMMAMA!

Ay sus! Ang kapoy....nawagting gyud! Yup...he is definitely worth it!

sakto dyud! am a single parent also. aku after work sapot ku cos wla'y tulog pa, dayn aku baby mata na, naa sya sa crib (she's 1yr n 4months), she wud say "mama" tpos point sya nku, dayn kanang kaila dyud sya even akung footsteps, gikan ku taas munaog ku, m'dunggan nku sya mu ingun "mama! mama" he he he.. mu ingun dayn aku papa na "ah kuyawa baby ah, kaila mn mskan footsteps iya mommy" cute kayu. iya pa dyud ku itry ug hagwa, aku na nuon hagwaon? she will read me stories, mskan dli pa sya kibaw mu storya, baby talk rah, dayn if i tell her to put mommy to sleep, she will hum a song to me tpos iya ku iHug while doing that, tpos if i tell her to put her favorite stuffed toy (ant na toy) to sleep, iya dayn ibalot sa iya lampin dayn iya iHug dayn mu sway sya dayn mu hum.. k'cute uey. wla ku ngmahay dyud niabot sya sakung life, it made me grow as a person. krun work nku pra niya, sauna patoh, wla dyud direction aku life proud kayu ku ana aku baby, smart dyud kayu!

It was Nov. 11, that was yesterday. I went home burning with fever jud. On my way sa among balay, i saw my two daughters playing at the basketball court. My wife was there watchin' them. Para dili jud maputol ilang lingaw or para dili nalang sad sila magpakugos nako(as usually jud), nilipot ko dayon diretso jud sa amo. I closed the door, changed my clothes and turn the TV on. I lay down og nagbukot ko og habol while watching the TV. Ako ra jud usa sa amo atong hapuna.

Mga a 15minutes after, nakuyawan ko. Kay ni-barge in akong baby Ann-ann. Siya ra usa. She shouted, "Daddy!"

And i answered, "Halu baby..."

Dagan dayon siya padulong nako, deritso gakos bisag naghigda ko. "Daddy, lantan Daddy? Sige lang... naa man Ann-ann. 'ge lang..." Gipik-pik pa ko niya.

Kinsa god nga daddy ang dili ma-touch sa iyang anak nga 2years old pa?
