Images On The Website - Proper Usage

Hello guys, specially web designers

ask lang ko.

when you design a website did you use images that are found
using a search engine like yahoo, google, deviantart?

what's the limitation?
and copyright issue?

if the author forbids reproduction/alterations then you shouldn't use it. If he wants attribution them give them credit.

if you're starting a mock up, it's ok to use those images from search engines. but when you are going to publish the design with the same images, either ask permission from the author/contributor or buy them if they came from stock photo sites like imagebank or istockphoto etc...

here are some free stock photos that might save you from spending or hassling up on copyright issues.

i vote for stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site , very nice images, free pa jud, ask permission lang from the author even though its free.
