i got this DLink 604 4 port DSL router for about 4 months ago, but then nakapalit man gud mi ug loptop and karun ga libug ko if angay bako mo switch ug wireless nya e benta na lng nako ang wired nga router, is it efficient? i mean ok rba nga mo switch ko sa wireless witch is more expensive than wired one?, as of now ga gamit ko ug utp for the loptops internet connection, you could just imagine a 10meter utp nga ga kutay sa floor, ngayu ta ko ug advice if kamo sa akong side, would you or wouldn't you switch to a wireless? anyways 1 ra pud ka unit ang mo gamit sa wireless capability sa router(correct me if im wrong) mainly for family use lng jud, and if ever mo switch ko sa wireless preferably sa Dlink japun ko tagpila kaha na mga bro?, and lastly dili ba koti e install ang wireless ky sa wired? pariha rba sila nga medjo sayun e install?

if i were you i would not buy another router. i'll just buy an access point and connect it to the router.d-link na ap imo paliton para sure na compatible sa imo d-link na router pero kon mahalan ka it is your decision na kon mo palit nalang kag wireless router and sell you old one. pwede man daghan mo connect sa wireless dili man limited to only one pc. wired is more stable than wireless ion terms of connectivity. :mrgreen:

if you consider mobility...then go wifi...if ok rka sa imo station then stay put..anyways connected naman ka..

@cloud, kanang sa dlink nga AP ba syun rba na e install?, nya naa ka idea kung tag pila na ang AP sa Dlink?,

and naa pa d i, asay mas barato bai, kung ako ni e baligya ug 1000 ang akong wired nya palit ko lain router nga DLink pero wireless na, or kung mag palit lng ko ug AP?

and kanang sa wireless router sa Dlink bai pila na ka port ang available para sa wired? naa bay 4 port japun pero with wireless capability?

the same setup ra na, what u need is an AP only. adto sya i connect sa 1 of the 4 eth port sa imo router. sayon ra na i setup, kaya ra subayon sa manual ang uban gani plug 'n play...

always consider what is convenient for you.... two meanings....
1. Financial convenience --- make use of what u already have
2. Mobility convenience --- make use of what ur laptop can give (wifi)

anyway.... if you buy the wifi... u may still use the UTP cos it still has some rj-45 plugs....

its up to you man.... if u can afoord it... go for the wifi.... whats the money for if u dont make use of it for ur convenience....
