LAN problem

OS: Win XP pro SP2
mobo: asus p5gc-mx
network adapter: attansic L2 Fast Ethernet 10/100 base-t


fresh installation installed successfully tanan onboard components problem is
dili siya kakita sa uban pc, dili sad siya makita gi double check nako IP add, subnet mask, gateway
preferred and alternate DNS and everything is correct mogawas man ag icon sa tray kay gi enable
nako ang notification when connected but then sa LAN status niya zero jud ang
received packets then ang sent dili zero unsa kaha problem ani?

So far ako gibuhat reinstall OS and reinstall driver then update sad driver but wala gihapon na solve
mao ra sad ni nga mobo gamit sa entire nga naka LAN ang uban lahi brand sa mobo wala jud problem sa LAN
then ang wiring niya is exactly the same sa color coding sa tanan.

check ip range set on your switch or router... basin wa lang ka kabantay, outside the range na diay na na pc.

Basin lain lain na siya ug workgroup name, it should be the same workgroupname or if naka domain ka it should be configured.

sorry wala nako na info, that could not be since gigamit ni nga IP sauna sa old PC
gi upgrade ang unit

also additional info is wala firewall gi install and turned off sad

naka dhcp lang na bai? ma-ping niya ang uban station? ang router/switch?

wala bisan usa na unit ma ping ani niya gitan-aw sad nako sa hardware device manager
wala man sad conflict or warning then ang status sa device is "working properly"

basin imo cable bro... poor crimping siguro... did you test it with a cable tester??

what i would normally do to check is....

1. ping the ip address of the other pc, if request timed out gani, go to number 2, if naay reply then ok ang connection, basin naay prob sa workgroup setting.

2. since turned off man kaha ang firewall, i will check kung naa bay na tapad nga electrical wires sa network cable mismo.... although dili kaau ni famous nga scenario but it happened to me once, nga gikuyog sa electrician ang electrical ug LAN cable nga maoy cause nga dili jud ko maka ping ato, den after gi transfer ang cable naka connect rko...

3. although i haven't experienced this on an upgraded unit nga dili magkita sa network, pero if dili gihapon maka run, try daw ug clean format jud sa isa lang ka PC una den i try ug connect sa network kung mo work ba, kay basin naay part sa upgrading ang culprit sa problem....

gicheck sad nako ang cable but seems fine kay gitry jud nako lain nga cable sa uban
unit nga ni work but same gihapon ani nga pc mo show sa system tray nga connected
but then dili ka connect sa LAN.

workgroup is the same, no changes sa default na setting after fresh installation.

i tried to ping 127.0.0.1 and it gives response which means working ang iya onboard lan
but dili ju maka ping sa tanan

maybe itry sa nako reinstall kay pag install na sa onboar lan iha man to 2 ka options
ang complete og custom, complete man to ako gi choose but diha to notes sa ubos
wala lang nako nabasa kay complete naman
