Who is your favorite BOOK character? Why?

Well, mine would be Josephone "Jo" March of "Little Women" written by Louisa May-Alcott..she's stubborn, kind in some ways (she sold her beautiful hair to finance her family), tomboyish but a lady within, loves to write and read books and a dreamer...

yeah i would agree Jo was really a great character in Little Women.

other characters I like:

Dream of the Sandman series -> really takes on his responsibility seriously
Death of the Sandman series -> the coolest ever ( see my avatar )

Saphira -> the Dragon in Inheritance Trilogy. He is a great dragon
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Bennet of Pride and Prejudice -> need i say more
Anne of the Green Gables -> a girl with so much imagination and takes always looks at life with optimism and treat it as a great adventure.

I also admire Jane Eyre (written by Charlotte Bronte)..she's intelligent, not so pretty, kind and most importantly she best describes true love toward Mr. Rochester..

Elizabeth of Pride and Prejudice - the best. hehe.
Cassandra in I Capture The Castle - also the best. young, curious, thinks older for her age, full of potential. the book was written like it was the character's diary.
Eowyn of Rohan in Lord Of The Rings - for her courage and fragility
Nyneave of The Wheel of Time - stubborn
Avienda of The Wheel of Time - for her prowess with beauty to match
Anne Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank

Sherlock Holmes because he was the forerunner forensic detective that inspired a whole science of crime solving. He is absolutely brilliant!
