    How about buying surplus 17-inch monitors para maka budget ka ug video card? IIRC, tag 1,400 pesos ra ang baligya sa PC Republic (located in Mandaue, TEl No. 3446113). HP and brand sa monitor.

    Taking that into account:

    Athlon 64 LE1620 (2.4G) = 2340
    ECS AMD690GM-M2 Vpcie/S/L/raid = 2500
    80gb Western Digital IDE / SATA = 1980
    Kingston 1GB 800 ddr2 = 1200
    ATX CASING w/ kb & mouse = 1500
    PowerPro 500w 4S circuit breaker = 380
    Surplus 17" monitor = 1,400
    ==============================
    TOTAL: 11,300

    NOW:

    13,800
    - 11,300
    =====
    2,500 ===> Pang Video Card!!! :mrgreen:

    Now using PCX's Jan 30, 2008 pricelist, options nimo for a video card is:

    Inno3D 7300GT 256ddr3 128bit dvi 2440
    Inno3D 7300GT 512ddr2 128bit dvi 2290

    Just my $0.02 worth, so please don't kill me for the suggestion.

    Hope that helps. :mrgreen:

    EDIT:

    Also dili ko negosyante, so please take my suggestion with a grain of salt, so to speak. OK?

    ok nana siya bro.. kong di kaayo heavy ang mga games sa imong pc e install, pero kong pariha diri sa amo nga ang mga costumer brutal kaayo mo dula.. kay di na magsilbi, kay dali ra kaayo ng mokamang.. kay wa jud ko kabantay nga nindot na ug performance ang ECS nga mobo, kay ang mga mobo namo diri kay intel man jud ug asus, pero ang bag-o bro kay intel na jud tanan, nya core2duo ang pro...ang daan gamay nga vedoe card kay 7300gt ang bago kay 8500gt.

    On second thought, you might not need a Video Card, since the built-in video of an AMD 690 is really good.

    I just remembered that when i bought my computer last week at PC Express near SM, I was allowed into their testing area so that I could take my PC for a spin, one unit beside mine was being tested with NFS: Carbon. When I saw what the rig was, I did a double take and went WTF!!! OMG!!!!!! BBQ!!!! It was the same board balz is planning to purchase.

    I said to myself then: "grabeha na gyud diay sa mga built-in video karon sa, they can handle NFS: Carbon!!!!!! What's next built-in Video na mo handle of COD4 or Crysis or CS:S??"

    Well anyways, enough of my ranting, and good luck to balz on his planned purchase of PCs. :mrgreen:
