RF's graphics engine is very primitive and unoptimized i didnt feel any difference from my 7900GT to the 8800GT.
I guess the 8600GT would be fine for your needs, how much are you willing to spend ?
Also RF is really RAM hungry, i cant consume can even consume more than 1.2Gb of RAM.

if your going to spend 5-6k for the videocard then get the ATI HD3850
