Job description
FOR TEST SPECIALISTS:
IT Specialists in this job role will have expertise in the planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of tests using appropriate testing tools and techniques, and conforming to agreed standards, to ensure that new and amended systems, together with any interfaces, perform as specified together with the business. Typical examples of the deliverables are testing strategies, test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality metrics. IT Specialists who primarily apply their technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment.
FOR TEST MANAGERS: Testing experience leading test teams, define best practices for SIT, UAT, and test strategy for clients. Experience and knowledgeable with Rational testing and defect tracking tool suites (RFT, RPT, RQM). Familiar with Agile Methodology for testing is a plus; Will manage and execute the test plan in order to get acceptance of the delivered products according to specified requirements; complete test plan, test organization; controlled execution of the test plan; report to the PM on quality requirements; maintain an adequate skill level of test team memebrs; advice to the project manager with regards to the implementation of the tested objects; produce summary report. |
