A benefit tournament for READ to LEAD


Next February we will be hosting our very first Basketball Tournament which will run through the entire year of 2014 and open to all interested teams in the Cebu-Mactan Area.

We at JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel, Inc. (Home | Junior Chamber International Cebu-Mactan Channel Inc. (JCI Philippines)) believe that our Youth is our future and their growth is our business. This tournament is a fund-raising campaign to support our Read to Lead program which aims to develop and improve the reading skills and habits of elementary school pupils. Under the program, we will initially donate books to each of our identified beneficiary schools. Our members, community leaders and entrepreneurs who share our vision will then help do storytelling sessions and monitor the progress of our beneficiary students.

We are inviting your team to be part of this unique youth development program by doing what you love and do best: “shoot some hoops!”

This tournament is scheduled to start on Feb 2 and will end around March 16. Should your team decide to join this tournament please refer to the registration details below:

Registration fee: P5,000/team

Prices: 1st price P15,000.00 with a championship trophy
2nd price P10,000.00
