a lot of people don't know this but junior kilat is on the verge of landing a record deal with a still unnamed record label (details should be divulged later)... They are so bent on signing junior kilat because the band has everything that a label defines as "marketable".. Good songwriting, A charismatic singer, and a very, very good live act... Plus, the fact that 70% of all Filipinos are "visayan" speaking surely sounded like "cash" to the ears of label executives... I've always maintained, even from the very start of the band that they're gonna make it big... i always believed it.. BUT, so far, nothing's all set.. the deal isn't signed... You know what i think?? I think this label wants to sign junior K so bad because, they don't want other labels to get a whiff of this group and spark a "BIDDING WAR"... This hasn't happened in a long time... (although, a lot of labels were handing out offers to urbandub, left and right, but they (u-dub) wanted to go indie)...

Ey Cujo! You seem to know so much eh? I just hope Jr. Kilat wont turn out to be like The Jerks when they got signed under Alpha (or was it Vicor). The freakin' label just shelved their stuff and they can't use it 'coz major label own the rights to the songs. Freakin scary.
