    idk if this counts as exotic but i've tried the woodworm/shipworm better known as tamilok..it is a famous pulutan at kinabuchs bar in puerto princesa..
    it is actually a mollusk that can be found in rotting mangroves..thus, the old rotten wood kind of after taste..the texture is like that of talaba but it is longer and more slimy and it is hard to chew on it so you kinda have to swallow it whole which makes you gag a little..it's not as good as talaba but the experience is well worth it..

    Nakakaon nakog frog fried og french resotto style. Silk worms og grasshopper sad.
    Nakakaon nasad kog snake... Pinaka-ngilo jud toh kay sa China toh nya murag ila tong tradition or something nga panitan ang snake sa imong atubangan nya ilang isave ang juices or something nga good for the body daw. Nya ila mi gipugos painom pero wa jud mi, akong daddy ray niinom. Nya ang blood dayun. Waaah! Nya gilimpyohan nila, nya giluto... Diha ra tanan sa atubangan sa among table jud! Hahaha!

    grasshopper, lami jud kaayo na labi nag i deep fry. manakop mi ana sa una didto sa mindanao hangtod makatigum mga duha ka kabo, libre na sud-an.
