ANNOUNCING the F8 Photo & Accessories and KICK for LIFE: Football Marathon 101 PHOTO CONTEST for the benefit of children with Congenital Heart Defects (CHD)

December 2 to 6, 2014 at the San Roque Parish football field, Mandaue City

Donation of ₱101.00 gives you entry to the contest with one entry for each category plus an official baller ID band. A ₱50.00 donation for each additional photograph entered per category. Registration starts December 1, 2014 at F8 Photo & Accessories and will also be open at the San Roque Parish football field starting December 2, 2014

PHOTO CONTEST MECHANICS

CRITERIA
• Creativity (20 points)
• Composition (20 points)
• Technical Mastery (20 points)
• Relevance to theme or category (20 points)

• Kick
• Flight (special drone category)

RULES
• Photographers must wear official baller ID band while taking pictures in the duration of the contest
• Access only to areas open to the public
• Flash use not allowed for photographing players on the field
• Photographers must avoid actions that will distract players, disrupt play, or lead to injury
• Please be polite and courteous when taking picture of people
• Global enhancement allowed (use of color filters, color correction, sharpening/blurring, exposure adjustment)
• No photo manipulation (e.g. changing background, editing objects or people into the image)
• Photographers allowed one entry per category. ₱50.00 per additional entry per category
• Entries to be printed in 8x12 with the category and photographers name/email/contact number attached on the back.
• Entries to be submitted to F8 Photo & Accessories on or before Monday, December 8
• Winners will be announced on Friday, December 12, on the Kick for Life facebook page
• Decision of judges and Kick for Life are final and may not be disputed
• Copyright ownership will stay with the photographer
• Photographer grants Kick for Life and its beneficiaries use of photographs for promotion, news, announcements of this and future events, and other activities related to children with Congenital Heart Defect. A byline of photographer will be given when possible.
• Kick for Life reserves the right to disqualify entries or photographers based on these rules and for the general welfare and safety of people during the contest.
• Kick for Life reserves the right to change rules, mechanics, and policies with updates and announcements provided on the Kick for Life facebook page
