before ang rib eye steak around 210 ,, thats about 5 thick slices ,, australian na! now, 4-5 slices cost u around 400. T bone steak- its like monster size , i tell ya , i bought 4 slices for only 300 plus ,, it was so big it overlap my plate!!! now it cost around 500-600 !! all soft & juicy! i think alot of resto buy from there now,, maybe thats why they raised the price! Before theres also at rustans ,,buy 1 take 1 on local lamb chops,,,180 around 12 slices ,,, ahhhh ,slurp slurp, im getting hungry all of a sudden!!! im sure theres some local beef , out ther waiting to be bought cheap,,, hehehehe!

try this.you'll have your girlfriend/boyfriend or wife/husband praising you
t-bone or rib-eye at Monterey's (they age their steaks and forcefeed them with pineapple thats why medyo tamis and tender).choose a cut with generous fat, around 20% of the meat.php330-350 ang kilo,gives you about 3-4 1/2" or 3/4" thick servings.
pat with grind (not ground) blackpepper - no salt please.marinate it overnite with barbeque marinade (mama sita's) or at least 8hrs.don't overdo it coz u will then be making tocino.
here is the secret - pour any sweet wine (novellino is best) over it 2 hrs before cooking.
use a cast iron skillet or any old frying pan (dont use teflon coated pan)
heat it to high then add 2 tablesppons salted butter
pan-grill 4 minutes on both sides for rare, 6 minutes for meduim-rare, and 8 minutes for well meduim, 10-12 minutes for well done.add butter when necessary.do not use margarine or butter substitute.
take it out of the pan and let it rest for 3-4 minutes.meanwhile add 1 tablespoon butter sa pan droppings and put it in low heat.add around 4 tablespoons of campbells cream of mushroom soup per serving.season with white pepper and maggi's seasoning.use this as gravy for the steak.
inexpensive side dishes would be sm bonus french fries or chilled coleslaw (just cabbage,mayonaisse and raisins).cost would be around 200php per serving.
