Consult Dr. Dy sa Chong Hua Med Arts......
Tonsilitis is usually treated with antibiotics. The doc will check your history and will prescribe if you need removal of your tonsils or not.....
For now avoid cold drinks and fibery food like mangoes that will stick particles in the mouth & throat. Gargle every now and then with hot water with salt for some relief.... Commercial mouthwashes will not be help much but the doc will recommend you the most effective one for your case....
Cleanliness is key so avoid taking "unclean" food for the moment like ginabot, etc. and rough ones like chicharon that will irritate or even scratch ur tonsils/throat......
Tonsilitis sufferers should be wary of their conditions since it might complicate to heart problems (scarring of throat tissues would reach the heart) - so please do check with an EENT doctor.
consulting EENTs are very expensive..considering they ask P500 for evey instrument they stick into your orifices(suction,scopes,etc)..an average consultation for EENTs would not go less than 1k
..if you think your sorethroat/tonsilitis is not that bad, just go for home remedy..i often have tonsilitis every few months(..yes!i plan to have it taken out soon)..just gargle bactidol every 4-6 hours...take a few pain relievers, drink lotsa fluids and rest...and yes, dont eat food that gets stuck in your throat..
Limogmog daw ug suka ug asin...
You can gargle with luke warm water & salt, let it reach your throat, repeat it as often as you can. Dont eat or drink anything sweet like softdrinks, chocolates etc. Antibiotics will help to subside the swollen tonsils.
asin ra bro' sagot sa init init na tubig... ilimogmog ra na.. wala lage na..
every pila ka hours e gargle? pa check up cguro kog doctor ron... sakit najud kaayo... feel nako nag hubag akong tonsils
inom lang pirme tubig...

thanks
