music seems to play but no audio

Guyz whenever mag play ko og any audio file wala ragi sound mo gawas pero nag play ang media player wala lang mogawas na sound. XP ako os. Diba kun hardware ni cya na issue mo reklamo mana ang computer kani wala man error mogawas. I already tried re installing the driver of my audio device pero mao lang gihapon.
Unsa problema sa ako pc?

first, make sure you insert the spkrs' in the audio out jack of the sound card. its usually colored GREEN

turn the spkrs on! :mrgreen:
put your volumes to the highest level
unmute it if you see an spkr icon on your taskbar (at the side where the system clock is found).

second, try go to your computer's device manager and check if theres an error or questionable. BE SURE YOU INSTALLED THE DRIVERS right FOR YOUR SOUND CARD.

I already tried all your suggestions before i made this post pero wala man gihapon. 5 ni sila kabuok pc na identical and hardware composition pero 2 kabuok pc ang naa ingani na sakit ang tulo wala man. Ako audio device built-in man sa motherboard. Guyz what do i do?

How do i upate the driver? Dili diay na updated daan ang driver that comes along with the motherboard's driver cd? Unsaon pag pa warranty?
Nag wonder lang ko ngano ni tukar raman ni cya sa duha ka pc nya sa tulo wala man na pareha raman sila og driver kaning soundmax.
Ako motherboard kay ASUS na P4S800. Wala man sad mga error sa device manager. Diba kun hardware ang guba mo reklamo mana ang windows?

format? heheheh... not all times drivers that come with your mobo's CD is not UPDATED or not the latest release... but those drivers are certified and tested already to work in any condition..
