What is the best all in one printer to buy??? Why?

I am planning to buy inkjet printer, could somebody advice what is the best all in one printer should I buy. My budget is 5k+.

I'm not in Pinas right now, so I don't know much bout the pricing there, but i would recommend Canon for an all-in-one inkjet printer.

-Canon Pixma MP150/MP170 for an entry level one
-Canon Pixma MP500 if you gonna be prining photos a lot
-Canon Pixma MP800 if you want film scanning support

5K buget? you could get a good printer for that. but you should also consider the cost of operation (ink).. if you find inks cheap--go for HP's.. but if not--go for those that has cheap alternate cartridges (like for EPSON c43, and c45 series)..

go EPSON, HP ink refills cost a lot, especially on those new all in one models of late. 700+ for black, 1.5k+ for color.

Have somebody heard Brother Multifunction printers? Could somebody give advice the performance of this brand also its comsumables? Thus users of this brand please advice.... I saw this brand in the SM IT shops the price is good affordable and I was amazed on the features. Please any comments..........
