Default Do you think this is the good time to apply for credit?

I've wanted to have my own credit card for emergency purposes since last year. nagthink ko na to apply in HSBC and Citibank since they are international companies (useful when going abroad) pero after hearing the news of these companies are retrenching due to low demand etc, i'm not sure if this is the right time to apply. diba nagproblema man sila sa credit stuff, what are the chances my application will get accepted?

Your application will be approved based on your financial merit. Banks earn a lot on credit cards.

basta credit worthy lang ka meaning wala kay record sa nfis(negative file info system, i think), then dili risky imo work like sa army or police, limot na ko sa uban criteria..

Hmm.. Credit Cards.. not a good suggestion for emergencies really. Save some money every month and put it in a bank for emergency funds. Real Cash for emergency is better than credit.. since there will be no after effect (debt). But if you really want to they will give you one. Go for HSBC. I'm just giving a lil' warning. ^_^

its part of the credit bureau in the philippines. all banks can access this system. diri nakalist tanan debtors na naay bad record, like cancelled cards due to non payment, non payment of loans, not sure pero basig apil ang mga borrowers na naay past due.
