I will start with this info i got thru email from a friend.
please post here if it works for you

First go to ur To-do List (default app of ur N6600)

- Make a note and input as follows
Subject: Speed
Due Date: 01-29-2005(mm-dd-yy)
Priority: set to High
then press Done

- Make a second Note and input as follows
Subject: Qoukie
Due Date: 01-29-2005(mm-dd-yy)
Priority: set to Low
then press Done

- Do not exit yet, Press the Option of your Subject note w/c is Speed and Mark as done

- then Press the Option of your Subject note w/c is Qoukie and Mark as done

- Now, reboot ur mobile.

edit the gallery folders name to simple short ones.
max 6 characters!

etc.

:: You can make a software reset (return the settings to defaults) by typing *#7780#.

::If you want to return the phone to it's original state (hard reset), follow these steps.
a.be sure that you have the battery fully charged
b.plug the charger
c.type *#7370# or restart the phone with the # and * keys pressed.

::If you typed the code the phone will restart and the process will take some minutes formating the phone memory (maybe more than 15). If you restarted having the *,# pressed the the phone will also format the phone memory but you will also have a percentage bar on top of the screen showing the procedure completion.

DON'T DO ANYTHING TO INTERUPT THE WHOLE PROCESS(remove battery etc.) OR YOU MAY END UP WITH A DEAD PHONE
Also you may be asked for a code. In case you haven't changed it, it is 12345.

for all nokia s60 phones:

How to reset to defaults? (this solves most smaller software problems of ur phone but will erase all data so pls backup before trying!)

Normal Reset (*#7780#) phone must be on with sim
Deep Reset (*#7370#) phone must be on with sim

Format: 3-fingered salute (phone must be off)
Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power button to swtich on the phone. keep holding down all buttons till formatting displays on the lcd.

REMINDER: make sure full ang imo battery before doing any of these else you end up with a dead set.

NOTE: should you experience this on ur 3650/60 or 6600...
when u turn on ur phone, NOKIA logo will appear but fades away and
reapear again, this happens 4 cycles, then the unit will automatically turn off!

we call this problem as 4x Fading

This kind of problem will not be solved by reformatting or resetting.
DAMAGE na ur phone! even Upgrading or Firmware flashing will not fix this!

Quick Easy Solution: bring it to GIZMO CELLPHONE WIZARD 3rd level elizabeth mall 4177775. about 20mins lang yan ok na. no need to open the phone and touch the hardware like other shops do, we just reprogram the phone using our specialized tools via cable

Making MP4 movie files. Download mpegable from www.mpegable.com (trial 30 days)
Start with making this adjustments.Total bidrate 200kb Audio bidrate 16kb Target framerate 15 Downsampeling (depends on the size of the movie) AUDIO Channels Mono Presision : same as input Sample rate : 22050 ENCODING Keyframe period: 75 B-frame : 0 Image Qaulity : smooth motion Compression Qaulity : Fast encoding

Then save these settings. ( then u dont need to change them everytime)

Choose input file, choose output file, look so that the movie size out isent bigger than 192 * 144 (i think)

Then choose record

Making background and screensaver images. One program that i think is good is Snagit from www.techsmith.com (trial) because of all features.
U only show the pics u want to use in any viewer and then use the grab button in snagit. (many options)

Sizes are Background 208 * 144 and Screensaver 208 * 320

Synchronize SonyEricsson P800 with GroupWise 5.2 and above.
(Several P800 or other SyncML devices)

Midi files sounds wrong ! The instruments loaded in the phone are not enough for some midi files, download the file called "Enhanced midi playback.zip" to get better playback.

There there are some options like format disk and so on.

Disk full problem (wont boot) Remove sim card , turn on phone at the enter pin access the secret menu to make a master reset. (data will be lost)
Adding more sms emotions pictures Create a folder called EMS in c\documents\media files\image folder and place them there
Synchronize SonyEricsson P800 with GropWise (one P800) You can try to
1. Install GropWise client.

2. Install the outlook plugin for groupwise if you have groupwise 5.5 (in groupwise 6.x the plugin is integrated in the groupwise client).

3. Start outlook and check if you can correctly access your groupwise informations.

4. install the native synchronisation software for your device telling it you use outlook.

5. Start the sync process and pray.

i dont know. others say it works. some see no difference.
i guess it makes a diffence if ur phone is fully loaded and slowed down tremendously already i dunno i never got to prove this to do entries in my own tests. the others ive posted here works great though
