unsa-on pag mitigate shock sa desktop pc...kun on road.

ingon ani man gud ni. gusto sa akong amo mag buhat ug mobile IT Center-cum- library, not for business ni ha, for public service, unya ibutang sa bus mga 10 pc workstations para pag bisita sa far flung barangays. unsaon man pag-mitigage sa shock sa road bumps, pot holes etc. (ayaw lang suggest nga tapakan ang karsada ha, internal factors lang sa, unya lang nang external) para dili dali maguba ang mga pc. fact is internal HDD's are shock sensitive, how about ang uban nga parts sa pc, unsa may known effect sa road shock.

bai suggestion lang..para makatipid mo sa space gamit nalang ug laptop..naa mai laptop ron sa market na pareho price sa PC like ECS notebooks..nya kaning mga parts sa laptop like hardiisk, cdrom..etc kai mga shock resistant naman na :mrgreen:

we're thinking of using removable HDD's, pero wa miy idea unsa effects sa road shock sa ubang parts. ang mga PC kay gamiton sa para database management, suitable hinuon ang laptop, pero cheaper ra gyud ang desktop kung magkugi lang ug pangita sa barato, diba?

but still we will consider ECS laptops, tagpilahon ni kinabaratohan niya P36K? also space is not that much of a problem kay 10 units ra man ang isulod sa bus.

lisora aning poblemaha bai oi... ingon c fd i-rubberized ok sad cguro na.. pero i think dili man kaau problema.. kay dili man ninyo gamiton kng mag dagan inyo bus... so dili kaau dako ug risk ang HD maguba... pero kinahanglan gyud mangita paagi para dili mag ambak2x inyong mga cpu...para d i ma dislocate ang mga hardware installed.. diba naa man sad ing-ani sa manila?? try kuno search.. basin makakita ka gi unsa nila pag set-up... problema lang unsa to cla nga organization or group..

oki doki. it seems ang idea of putting pc's in buses is relatively new. we'll look into your suggestions, but don't let it stop your creative juices from coming up with more suggestions. we'll be glad to hear it.

bai..if you're really contemplating on putting desktop PC's on the bus instead of laptop then just make sure the components in every desktop are shock proof..like putting rubber cushions on HD and motherboard to absorb excessive shocks during travel..i think this is more practical and effective than putting rubberized cushions under the PC casing..my $0.2

make an enclosure for the chassis and have an insulation between the enclosure and the pc (i.e.thick foams on the bottom and sides). Just make sure that you provide ventilation.

Just imagine the first time you bought your PC. Its placed in a box with styro in it. change that styro with foams. That would dampen the shock.
