    Second zero's opinion.

Q: on your router do you have it on DHCP?

or you have to manually configure your router to allow connections to your pc on a certain port.. i think it has something to do with UDP settings

I've a problem with a new router or I just don't know how to install it: Have a D-link DI-724P wireless router. I seemed to have followed religiously their setup instructions however, it wont enter the DNS address of the router to configure the router. Can someone please shed some light? Thanks

agentSMITH: check your router link lights ETH,LAN,WLAN

cable should be in good connection
check Eth card (shud be working)
check Speed and duplex too( auto or 10 half )

try pinging your router first. ( considering that AP (access point is up)

( you should resolve your DNS)
