Not an apple to apple comparison.

Have not tested the Gopro but I once have the LX7.

If we base it on specification alone:
Lumix should be better optically - Larger sensor size, quality glass (Leica), Flexible aperture settings as wide as f1.4

But if you want to take it outdoors in harsh to extreme conditions just get the Gopro.

bitaw murag dili patas nga choices, kung outdoor nimo gamiton goPro nalang gyud. naa koy LX7, comparable ra sa DSLR ang kuha kung kamao gyud ka mogamit (raw) + post process.

Para nako TS dili sila ma compare. Kung hilig kag adventure2, magdala ka ug GoPro. Nindot ang LX7 kay gamay nya same2 ra sa DSLR ug quality.

I agree with the comments above. Pero kung IQ ang una nimong consideration, og sa duha nga choices nimo, I'd go with the Lumix.

Dili. LX7 has a fixed lens.

But, I don't know if there is an available fisheye adaptor for LX7.
