There are a lot of bhaus and apts for rent in the areas you mentioned, TS. Ride any Labangon jeepney and you'll see signs posted everywhere. Suggest lang ko, since CIT-U ka, try to find one in Punta or Tres - medyo layo ra mn sa imo gd kng mag-Tisa ka or Katipunan although one ride ra gihapon pod.
