Guys m plannin 2 buy a DSLR n aiming at nikon D60..
pls comment on this brand n model...
F uve another model n mind pls tel me b4 I buy...

not rily an expert on photography, but i got a chance to use a d60 from a fren. nice ang shots, nindot timpla ang colors bsta nikon. lingaw pd using manual settings, changing the aperture n shutter speed. newbie mn. wer ka plan mag buy sir? tigum mode pa pd ko ana

better if diritso ka d90 bro.. = ) much much better quality, but mas mahal sad hnuon.. but if maka kuha ka d80, its also better than the d60.. just my 2 cents..

naa bay d80 bos? ang ako lng pirmi makitan ky d40, d60 ug d90...

for a beginner like me go with D60 or D500 and buy good lens... it should work.

I bought a D60 last april. Primed it up with a lens, tripod, CPL, and a nice bag but ended up selling them all...

why?

I was given the chance to test the D80... and was left wanting

Now, I have a D90 with a 50mm only. I'm very happy and contented... I never regretted my decision to upgrade. But I regretted not listening to my friends to go directly to D80. I am just a newbie at photography, but my decision to upgrade to the D90 made me enjoy this hobby more.

However, if you're on a tight budget, go for the D40 instead. Check Ken Rockwells' reviews. The only difference between the D60 and the D40 is the resolution.

All in all, if you're on a really tight budget, take the D40 and not the D60 or worse, the D5000.

If you can still find a 2nd hand D80, buy that... dli k magmahay ato.

If you can stretch the budget, go for the D90.

Notice why you see so many people selling their D60 in the forum? It's lens mount requires a special lens (AF-S)...
