The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers have combined for 30 championships and had met 10 times in the NBA Finals. It will also be Phil Jackson’s attempt to beat Red Auerbach’s nine NBA titles as a coach. Kobe's in the Finals for the first time without Shaq and the Celtics' "Big Three" are in the Finals in just their first season together.
