When u watch foreign films/ dramas, which would you prefer subbing or dubbing?

I just want to know your opinion... I prefer reading subtitles than hearing other voices.. maski kapoi ug basa i think u would get the real emotion and find the film more meaningful in its natural form. also sometimes the dubbing can be very lousy.. I mean it doesnt fit the character's voice/ personality... just my 2 cents.. what's yours?

Subbing. I find it kinda disturbing where their lips move but the sound is different than what you could have expected. Hehehehe.

also.. A few years ago, i saw "pangako sa'yo" which starred Jericho and Kristine in this Indonesian channel and it was dubbed. I don't know but it kinda gave me the creeps. I mean I would have expected to hear their original voices but it was in Indonesian language which was a little bit weird for me to watch. hehe bec. i also think that the emotions they were trying to portray didn't fit their dubbed voices.

i prefer sub-titles. yes, i like hearing the original language of the movie. however, this means that if you know enough of the foreign language, you can tell how good/accurate the translation is.
