MANY FILE EXTENSIONS TO RESTRICT CAN SLOW DOWN THE INTERNET?

Good day mga bai.

Is it true that many extensions to restrict can slow down your internet speed?

We have a server/firewall nga daghan kaayo mga file extension gipang restrict.
ex. .exe, .jpg, .doc., ..zip, .rar, etc..mga 30- 40 extensions even .tar, .tgz gipang restrict sa among admin.
can it cause to slow internet speed?

We are having problem regarding our internet speed hinay kaayo. Possible ba ni siya?..pero kung gamiton nimo ang direct public ip address kay pas2x man.. it gives us 786 kpbs upstream and 512 kpbs downstream..

Pero sa mga local pc hinay jud.?..

Unsa imo ISP bro? ako usa ka PC ok man pero legacy na network ang dsl. akong usa ka pc hinay au internet pldt ipdslam na network.

It slows down connections because it has to inspect packets that carry data before it lets them through. This shouldn't be a problem if the network isn't high trafficked.

perhaps its not actualy the the internet speed,

speed cguro sa firewall sa pag process niya, kong paspas cguro ang firewall (like taas ug memory) pas pas cguro ang connection.

i think all firewalls using ASIC hardware are slower
