I need your opinion about lenses for Canon...
Which is a better lens, the Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 OS or the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM?
I'm stuck between both. I need either one for travel / wilderness photography. I'm not a Canon user, i'm even new to the system. I have a 40D but no lens. I'm planning to buy a good all-around lens for it. These are the only two lens i have in mind, and i don't have any other plans to purchase or use other lenses, since i'm primarily
NOT a Canon user.
My criterias are:
-durability, survivability & hardiness (restistance to abuse, bangs, moisture, humidity, heat, cold)
-IQ quality
-AF speed
-True macro capabilities (or close to it)
I need to buy either lens before the month ends.
Pls help me decide.
Thanks
