EIGHT – A Sheila and the Insects special engagement at Kahayag Café on July 30, 2004. The event marks the official comeback of Sheila and the Insects with a new lineup (Jerros Dolino – drums, and Boobop Nuñez – bass) plus special guests. Aside from the show, EIGHT will also showcase a mini exhibit at the lobby of Handurao (the side entrance of Kahayag Café) including the band's past and recent photos, published articles, discography, and a lot more. We hope to see you all there!!!

by the way!!!! The Robotballoons will be playing their first official gig in 4 years during the "Eight" event... The Robotballoons is one of the most inspiring, talented, creative bands to ever emerge from the cebu music scene during the mid-late 90's. The groundbreaking group was responsible for such wonderful tracks such as "Comets", "Sheik"(as revived by sheila and the insects in the "manipulator" album), "Willis".. All these songs made radio airplay via NU107 Cebu!! If you guys dig The Sundays, The Boo Radleys, The Pixies, The Breeders then you would surely like this gang of four..

However, the band's course was cut short because their lead singer, Xiomara Demeterio (Xiomai) unfortunately left for the US a few years back. But, Xiomai's back for the next few weeks and the band has decided to reunite for one more time before xiomai leaves for the states.

This is your chance to catch them play live!!!! Catch "Eight" a Sheila and the Insects Special at Kahayag Cafe' this coming July 30!!!
