HELP! The best Filipino resto in Cebu City

we have some relatives who are visiting and they are looking for the best filipino restaurant here in the city.

can anyone make a recommendation or two?

-has to be authentic / old school filipino cuisine
-dinner for 20 persons
-food quality is more important than ambiance or location
-price won't be an issue

please help

pier one is the place for that. they serve really good seafood dishes, especially filipino food. my favorites there: lechon sisig, lechon kawali, crispy pata, grilled swordfish, inihaw na pusit, inihaw na salmon or tuna belly, lamb shank kaldereta, bicol express, pinakbet, gisings2x, beef salpicao, sizzling gambas, homestyle humba, sinigang na prawns (sugpo) or bangus or baboy soup, prawns (sugpo) in aligue, ginataang prawns (sugpo) sa dabong. their prawns are really fresh since the owners have their own prawn farms. they also have filipino desserts like halo2x, saba in syrup, turrones con leche, leche flan,...i'm sure your guests will enjoy the food there. the food is good, the ambiance and service is great, and the prices are very affordable. enjoy!

pier one bar & grill is located at the walk (formerly the village) @ asiatown i.t. park lahug. if 20 pax mo, better if you go early before 7pm so you can get a table that will fit all of you.

golden cowrie or chika-an. both have bottomless rice.

chika-an has bibingka with itlog maalat for dessert and they also serve lechon. also serves bottomless iced tea.
