On hardware reviews.

I just want to share something I've observed with how "reviews" are being done on TV.

Haven't you guys noticed that not 1 negative aspect is mentioned when a computer hardware is reviewed?
It's all praises for the product and no bad sides to it. This for me is biased since an honest review should be more forthcoming
with the products shortcomings and not be an advertisment or endorsement for that product.

They should stop calling in reviews and instead change it to "advertisments". I don't care if the company is paying the person money to review their product. It's all about responsible journalism and telling it like it is.

in the marketing biz you DonT put down the product your selling(negativitah). otherwise, the company will blame ya for bankrupt in the worst case. reality bites. that's why its up to US consumers to find out and share our experiences. however there are concerned people out there who do things like what you've mentioned.

locally, the tv show that is more on hardware reviews is DIGITAL TOUR..i dont think their reviews are bias since they include pros and cons regarding the hardware...and sometimes they will include suggestions on what's the alternative product to buy.

those are proly d products that didnt sponsor the show. di ka mo sponsor? we'll expose your products shortcomings. hehehe
