What are "Marks" in the dog?

Good evening sa inyo tnan.. im newbie when it comes to dog. just want to ask if unsay ng mga marks sa dog? like 23 red marks and etc,,..unsaon pagka-hibaw ug asa makita sa part sa dog? thanks....

the 'marks' you are talking about can be found in the dog's pedigree paper, not on the dog itself. a red mark means that that dog that is marked red is a champion. so the more red marks in the pedigree means that that dog comes from a line with many champions.

wat about dogs coming from outside the counter or imported?!.does imported dogs dont have any effect of merit?

dogs that were imported will have its country of origin in parenthesis after its name. example if a dog was imported from the US, what will appear in the pedigree is: 'dogs name' (USA) but not in any 'special' color, unless ofcourse the said dog was championed either in its country of origin or in the Philippines. if such is the case, then the dog's name would also be in red with its title before its name, i.e. PH CH (phil champ), AM CH (american champ), etc...
